Training at WCK is finally here!

Obedience Training

Instructor - Sarah Cunningham

Sarah Cunningham is a retired USAF officer who became interested in dog training in 2001. Since that time, she has studied with some of the top trainers in the southeast, attended numerous training seminars and workshops, and put more than two dozen AKC titles in obedience, rally obedience, tracking, and retriever hunt tests on her own dogs.

She began teaching people to train their own dogs in obedience and tracking in 2006. Her training philosophy is positive and aimed at developing the dog-owner relationship while creating a well-mannered dog that an owner can both live with at home and confidently take out in public.

Nose Work Training

Instructor - Lue Ann Lott

Lue Ann Lott began learning the sport of Nosework in 2013 with a rescued Shepherd/collie mix in the effort to introduce her to a K9 sport she could participate in although being dog reactive. She then began actively trialing in 2015.

She brings extensive trial experience to classes and has been extremely successful with both her rescue Shepherd, Simone (NW3 Elite) and her rescue Doberman, RJ (NW2).

Lue Ann began privately instructing in 2016 and has students with their dogs currently in training ranging from beginners to trialing at the NW 1, 2 and 3 levels and has a unique combined training approach compiled from traditional Nosework methodology as well as professional detection dog training.
